Crazy neighbors!

I have these neighbors behind me who have had their smoke alarm needing a battery change for about 4 months now. You know how it chirps every 30 seconds? ( I counted it last night) Well theirs has been doing that for a long time now and it drives me crazy! Last night I had all my windows open so I'm laying there at 12:30am wide awake listening to this... I'm about to go over there with a battery and a ladder to change it for them! Or I'm going to throw a few batteries through their window.. How can they live like that?? I have tried to sleep through one of those before because I didn't have a battery and I just about lost my mind... I ripped it off the ceiling and threw it outside. lol
